What did it take to win the World Title?
In 1921 Jose Raul Capablanca dethroned Lasker to become World Champion. Many people thought he was unbeatable, but Alexander Alekhine surprised him and won the title in 1927. Alekhine too was upset in 1935 by Max Euwe, although he won the title back in a rematch in 1937. Alekhine died as World Champion in 1946.
